All right, so these kids, maybe trying to get a nod from the TikTok crowd, are actually damaging these Chromebooks their schools gave them. Not exactly recommended unless you’re into explosions and, uh, possible legal messes. I mean, it’s one thing if you want to go viral but blowing up your laptop and risking expulsion? Not the brightest idea ever.
Now, what is this madness called? "ChromebookChallenge"—it’s a thing where students start poking stuff like paper clips and aluminum foil into their laptops’ USB ports. Why, you ask? Apparently, it’s to mess up the lithium-ion batteries, which tend to go a little kaboom when they’re angry. Yikes.
