Whoa, so there’s this game from 2019… kinda just stumbled upon it, and it’s on PS4. For like, four bucks and change. Seriously. It’s called Children of Morta. Ever heard of Dead Mage? Yeah, they made it. And then 11 Bit Studios threw their name on it. Anyway, it’s this wild PS Store sale thing – not even sure why I caught it. Something about a ‘July Savings’ promo. Oh, and it’s on PS5 too, loaded with stuff to do.
Okay, hold up—Children of Morta, 80% off. That’s like robbery, right? And then they’ve got these add-ons, or DLCs, as the cool kids say. Ancient Spirits is dirt cheap. $1.74 if you’re some PS Plus VIP; $1.99 if you’re not. And Paws and Claws? Almost free at $0.69 for members, $0.79 if not. It’s like… do games even go this low?
Whole thing’s like $27 normally, so yeah, this deal’s kinda nuts. But, you’ve got until July 17. Mark it or forget it, no pressure.
So, yeah, what’s this game about? There’s the Bergson family. Seven folks you can play. Official blurb goes on about “extraordinary family of heroes” – feels like a movie pitch, right? Some creepy Corruption is everywhere. Not sure if that’s a metaphor or what, but guess who’s supposed to fix it? Yup, Mountain Morta’s guardians. Sounds huge.
Local co-op’s a thing here. Plus, this Family Trials mode… it’s different from the main deal. New gameplay, items, all that jazz. Not like I’ve checked every detail – who has the time?
All in all, seems packed with fun. And at that sale price? Honestly, why not grab it?
