So, Space Marine 2 dropped, right? And people are raving about it like it’s the best thing since sliced bread. And now, unsurprisingly, they decided to come out with the Space Marine Master Crafted Edition. This was announced at the Warhammer Skulls event. Yeah, Skulls—kinda fitting for Warhammer. Anyway, it’s from SEGA along with Sneakybox, which sounds more like the name of a band than a game company. They’ve been busy ramping up stuff like 4K resolution, slicker controls, and all those little tech extras that give a game some pizzazz. Vaidas Mikelskas, a producer over there—don’t ask me who he is, but he seems important—called it a “thoughtful restoration.” Whatever that means. Like, does it have a zen garden we don’t know about?
Right, where was I? Oh yeah, this refreshed version keeps all the modes you remember, campaign, PvE, PvP—those letters always make my head spin—and the main highlight? The Orks are getting a glow-up. Their new models and the hundred new voice lines should be a nice surprise. Just hoping that Warboss Grimskull keeps his usual banter because, let’s face it, he’s the real star here.
Space Marine has been a fan favorite forever, seemingly because it taps into that Warhammer 40K vibe everyone can’t get enough of. If you’re feeling nostalgic or just curious, it’s gonna be out there for €39.99—or however much it ends up costing wherever you are. Cheaper on Game Pass if you’re into that whole subscription thing.
So, now the question is, are you jumping back on this bandwagon? I might. I might not. Let me know if you do, or don’t, or whatever else you feel like sharing.
