Hey, so check this out. I was reading this thing, and it’s got me thinking about all the tech stuff happening in the Middle East. Somehow, amidst all the buzz and noise, NVIDIA is making its way over there, and it’s kinda wild.
So, apparently, Trump signed some huge deals with a bunch of countries over there. Yeah, you know, the whole Saudi Arabia, Qatar, UAE trio. Guess what? They’re all set to buy like a gazillion AI chips from NVIDIA over the next few years, which is, let’s be honest, kinda crazy if you think about it. I mean, pouring all that oil money into AI? Didn’t see that coming—or maybe I did, but whatever.
Anyway, it’s a bit of a headache for NVIDIA ’cause China’s been a big deal for them. But now, Trump’s hopping around these countries and suddenly, they’re all like, “Yeah, let’s dive into AI!” with bags of cash. Seriously though, billions thrown into AI like it’s candy. It’s huge for NVIDIA, AMD, and some other tech bigwigs.
So, there’s this image in my head of Trump strutting around with Jensen Huang from NVIDIA in Saudi. And Jensen’s like the star of the show, revealing this new AI company called HUMAIN. They’re throwing around billion-dollar deals like they’re going out of style. Something about building these massive AI centers or whatever. Over 18,000 AI clusters and a $10 billion tag with AMD. No biggie, right?
Also, UAE’s not sitting this one out either; they’ve got this firm, G42, planning to scoop up over a million AI chips. So yeah, the Middle East spotlight is all over NVIDIA and they’re grabbing that sweet oil cash.
But, and here’s the kicker, some folks in the US are waving the red flag. They’re worried that if Trump gets too cozy with these deals, it might backfire. Like, what if it puts the US behind in the AI race? Or, what if China sneaks in somehow and gets their hands on these chips? It’s a bit of a mess. But who knows how it’ll actually play out?
Man, the tech world is something else, huh?
