Alright, here goes nothing:
Wow. Who would’ve thought my latest obsession with Netflix’s “KPop Demon Hunters” would somehow waltz into a galaxy far, far away and shake hands with my forever love, Star Wars? Sounds bananas, right? But here we are. Seriously, imagines swirling in my head—Cal Kestis, Bode Akuna, Merrin—and then you’ve got Rumi, Zoey, Mira from HUNTR/X? What the heck?
But let me tell ya, it makes sense. They all just wanna smack down their foes and look awesome doing it. That’s a thing, apparently.
So, here’s the deal—AnimatedJen whipped up this sweet video, and if you’re all about kicking off your mornings with a bang, you gotta check it out. Dunno why I even care, but it just hit different.
Picture this: “How It’s Done” bumping in the background—the groove’s tight. Cal, Bode, and Merrin are out there smacking Empire grunts left and right. Not while plummeting out of a plane or anything—though that mental image is kinda rad—but this trio knows how to make you go “Whoa, what did I just watch?”
“You want some more? Cal, I think they want some more,” Bode muses. Before you blink, Cal’s booting a shoretrooper across the room while Bode’s landing in with a jetpack punch—smack! Merrin drops in like lightning with a staff twirl. I’m buzzing! And it’s not even over yet.
AnimatedJen’s stuff? Pure gold. Been lurking on that channel for ages, soaking up the love. Their alternate universe where Cal’s an Inquisitor? Count me in! The Jedi game characters totally need a trip to the live-action world—can someone make that happen already?
Star Wars world is a whirl—I mean, who decides what’s canon anymore? Cal, Merrin, and Bode jamming to K-pop to power up and kick stormtrooper butt might sound wacky, but who says it didn’t happen? No one. That’s who. I’m calling these three the MANT/S team from now on. Cere Junda as their band manager? Why not? Dear writers of AO3, make it happen! Oh, and modders, if you’re listening, let’s get these outfits rolling, pretty please.
Catch me replaying Jedi: Fallen Order, cranking up “Takedown,” and slicing through Imperials. Because why not?
