Blade in Marvel Rivals! Oh man, the chatter has been non-stop about Marvel’s Daywalker making his big entrance. People have been buzzing ever since the game dropped hints he’d show up. August 8th, mark your calendars!
Blade’s finally stepping in as a Duelist—think close combat champ, slicing and dicing with his sword (probably sharper than anything in your kitchen, let’s be real) and carrying a shotgun for those pesky mid-range foes. Oh, and he’s got this ability, zooms across the map faster than you can say “Daywalker.” Imagine if Punisher and Psylocke had a baby… kinda like that. His ultimate? Total Dracula vibes. He’s slicing through enemies, even those airborne targets. There’s this scene where he up and destroys Iron Man and Storm in the sky, and lands super nonchalantly without a glance back. Classic.
Folks are already claiming Blade as their main. But that happens every time a new hero steps into the light, doesn’t it? But there’s something about this reveal—feels different, more flashy.
The soundtrack though, oh wow. One YouTube user’s like, “The soundtrack made it 100x better.” Another even mentioned “sleeping in Wakanda.” No clue what that means, but it sounds kinda epic!
So, Blade’s part of the Lunar Force squad, where Cloak and Dagger let others go invisible for a bit. Seems like a solid lineup. But with Blade joining, a bunch of other changes are happening:
– Guardian Revival and Atlas Bond are out.
– Loki’s leaving Ragnarok Rebirth.
– Duality Dance and Vibrant Vitality are coming in.
– Iron Fist, Star-Lord, and Blade hitting new teams.
Alright, multiplayer’s getting spruced up too. They’re cracking down on those match-leavers. Big point drops and longer bans for quitters. Finally. Stay till the end? You get a little reward. Maybe NetEase is listening after all?
Apparently, if someone ditches because of tech glitches, they’ll look into it. Quick reviews for unjust bans too.
Marvel Rivals is evolving—and Blade’s arrival might just be the beginning.
