Alright, so Sony’s got this new gig rolling out of their China Hero Project, called EXILEDGE. Just popped up at ChinaJoy 2025 with a gameplay teaser. It’s like Returnal had a not-so-smooth sibling. You know what I mean?
Anyway, the trailer’s loaded with clips—first, you’re zooming around on a pretty sick motorcycle, then—bam! You’re throwing down against enemies that scream Returnal vibes but with, like, a stiffer touch. Maybe they meant to make it look that way. Or maybe not? Hard to tell.
So, Enigmatrix Games is the brain behind this one, with Sony giving a solid helping hand. You’re playing as Alter, dodging and duking it out with these “Otherkin” inside spooky Talos towers. (Talos? Really? Sounds out of a Greek myth, right? Or is it just me?)
Oh, right! The story bit. Let’s dive in—future world, where old stuff’s gone kaput. Giant towers popping out of the sea are your new digs, called—wait for it—the Edge. There’s this mysterious girl, Zora. And with her, Alter’s peeling back the layers of some disaster called “that day.” Sounds like a Netflix series plot. Seriously.
