The moment’s finally here—Towerborne hits Xbox Series X|S, Windows PC, Xbox Cloud, and Game Pass today! Thought I’d throw out some tips and tricks, might help Ace-wannabes like me start off on the right foot. Or, you know, at least not fall flat on their faces.
Try Stuff Out!
Towerborne’s got that sweet mix—easy to start, but dig deeper and there’s a whole lotta combos to mess with. Four classes, all with their own vibe, thanks to weapon styles. You might think you’ll stick with one loadout, but trust me, give ’em all a whirl. Seriously. Class-swapping here is like changing shoes—no hassle.
Get Your Build On
Recently dove into this Class Mastery Update thing, and whoa, options galore for each class. New skill trees? Yes, please. Sentinels can be speed demons or just brick walls. Bleed builds, sear builds, you name it. Take the Pyroclast for example—burn damage everywhere, but you can make it last with stuff like ‘Persistent Pyre.’ Spice it up, right?
Not to forget the Rockbreaker. Quick Charge skills, anyone? Love seeing a good skull crack. Then there’s the Shadowstriker spamming projectiles with the “Shooting Stars” skill—flinging kunai all day long. You can tailor stuff to how you want to play. It’s legit fun.
And hey, got a soft spot for support roles? Heal your mates with style. Anyone can slap on these skills if you’re leveled up enough. Just don’t pigeonhole yourself unless, y’know, that’s your thing.
Take It Slow, Learn the Moves
These Gobo enemies aren’t exactly sneaky. But oh man, do they pack a punch sometimes. So, take a pause—watch their moves, pick out attack cues. Slow claw swipes, annoying projectile throws—you’ll start getting the hang of it. Stay on your toes, save your healing flasks for when things get real messy.
Use Their Toys Against Them
Goblin tactics: some are clumsy with bombs, hit ’em just right and they’ll drop it at their feet. And they cover their eyes instead of running—go figure. Environment’s your friend too, get ’em to walk into traps and see how they like it. So satisfying.
Meet Your Sidekick: Umbra
Umbra—gotta love these little guys. Each one comes with its own sweet power-ups, like Iska firing long-range shots. Meet Pox for aerial flair or Picus if you fancy setting the world ablaze. Keep an eye on these cuties; they change the game.
Hop into the Belfry, and maybe these tips will save you from too much humiliation. Towerborne’s out now on Xbox Series X|S, Windows PC, Xbox Cloud, Game Pass, and Steam. Game on!
