So, I was thinking about Destiny 2 and its endless expansions. Gosh, it’s like they never stop, right? Anyway, the newest one, “The Edge of Fate,” is supposedly the start of a whole new chapter for the game. I guess the whole Light and Darkness saga wrapped up, and now we’re diving into uncharted waters. It’s got a bunch of new stuff, like revamped gear—thank goodness, because my old stuff… well, let’s not talk about it. And there are these new menus. I don’t know about you, but I get a weird thrill from fresh UI. Call me weird.
Oh, and let’s talk about when this thing is dropping. July 15 is the big day. Now, Bungie is being all secretive about the exact time. I mean, who doesn’t love a little mystery in their life? But if you’re a betting kind of person, just circle ‘around Tuesday’s weekly reset’ on your calendar. Who am I kidding? I don’t even use calendars. But, if I did…
And then there’s the fun stuff. New missions, probably more of those crazy Vanguard and Crucible activities. Honestly, sometimes I jump in planning to play just for a bit and then—bam—four hours later, I’m contemplating my life choices. But that’s another story. Seriously though, with all the cool features rolling out, it’s looking like this expansion might just be the kind of fresh air we’ve been waiting for. Or maybe it’s just me. Dunno.
Okay, getting distracted here, but the buzz around this is pretty real. And the anticipation? Kinda electric. It’s like when you hear the tires screech on wet asphalt. Oddly satisfying, if you know what I mean.
