Alright, so today was kinda wild in the world of Elden Ring Nightreign. I mean, the servers were down for a bit—always an uh-oh moment, right? But they’re back now, and it seems like they did some maintenance magic or whatever with a patch. Now, I don’t always keep up with this stuff, but hey, this one seemed kinda important if you fly solo in the game.
So, they dropped Update 1.01.1—catchy name—and it’s live everywhere. I’m not even sure why I’m so excited about this, but here we are.
A lot of players, myself included, have been yelling into the void about how hard it is for us lone wolves. Sure, the game’s meant for teams, but like, do I always have friends around? Absolutely not. Anyway, FromSoftware caught onto these vibes and decided, “Hey, let’s fix this.” The big patch was supposed to come later or something, but surprise! They sneaked in changes early. Pretty sweet, huh?
Here’s the scoop: solo players now get a free revival every night boss fight. Just there, like a ghostly pat on the back. Apparently, this was something you had to earn before. And rune acquisition got a boost too, whatever that means. Maybe it feels like the game is finally giving us a break. Or maybe I’m making too much out of it. Who knows.
Oh, and if you’re still kicking around with pals, there are goodies for you too. More Relics and stuff—I think it makes those gnarly end fights a bit less of a pain? And now Scenic Flat stones leave higher-tier Loot, which sounds kinda mystical, doesn’t it? Yeah, they’re at that Small Jar Bazaar. Wait, that place always makes me think of tiny jam jars for some reason.
The patch does more than sprinkle goodies though. Like, it fixed some bugs that made you wanna yeet your controller. Wings of Salvation’s camera angles weren’t doing any favors before. And there are other bug fixes, but honestly, my eyes glazed over reading the list. Some attack thingies and damage whatevers were off, but it’s all patched up now.
Okay, let’s zoom in on a few bug fixes because they seem proud of them—rightfully so, I guess. They tweaked the camera (which was jitter city before). Also, they fixed some weapon attack bugs, like certain skills not displaying right or at all. Oh, and apparently arrows from “Enchanted Shot” and “Mighty Shot” were having a bad time before.
There’s a whole laundry list of other fixes. Graphics glitches, sound hiccups, and even HUD disappearing acts, especially on Steam. Like, come on, nothing says fun like a game crashing mid-battle, am I right?
So yeah, while you’re deep-diving into all this, maybe check out some guides or something. They have those ultimate ranked lists of Nightlords—it’s kinda cool if you’re nerdy like me.
Not much else to say, except maybe there’s more to explore, new stuff to find, and glitches to laugh at—or cry over. Your call!
