Okay, so here’s the thing: I was totally floored by the whole Silent Hill 2 Remake. Honestly, didn’t expect much but wow, it was like a bolt from the blue. Anyways, now Konami and Bloober Team are teaming up again to redo the original Silent Hill from ’99. No idea when it’s dropping, though. They just said it’s in the works — typical corporate teasing, I guess.
Not gonna lie, saw this one coming. Remember when Bloober said they’d keep on working with Konami after SH2? Yeah, that was a pretty loud hint. And let’s face it, with how well they nailed SH2, it’d be kinda nuts if they didn’t tackle more. So, here we are, standing in line for more foggy madness in Silent Hill.
Now, here’s a twist: the story’s got Harry Mason, a dad on vacay with his daughter, Cheryl. I know, sounds like another James Sunderland sob story, but trust me, it’s got its own flavor. So, they’re heading to Silent Hill to chill after some heavy family stuff, right? Boom! Car crash. Harry wakes up, no Cheryl. Just poof! Gone. Now he’s on this wild goose chase in a town chock-full of freaky monsters and eccentric folks. Like, every turn is more twisted than the last.
Bloober’s got a fat load to carry now — another Silent Hill game? Yikes. But given how they smashed it with Silent Hill 2, I’m kinda pumped. So yeah, fingers crossed they pull it off. What’s your take on this wild ride?
