So there I was, minding my own business, when I found out the Dune Awakening beta just went live. Exciting, right? I mean, who doesn’t want to dive into Funcom’s crazy, open-world MMO scene? Okay, maybe not everyone. But for those who care, the beta is out this weekend. Fresh territories, new faces, and maybe some surprising twists—or at least that’s what I’m hoping for. The zones they’re opening up are the first big couple, so expect to get a taste of what the start feels like.
The launch got bumped to June 10. Yeah, another delay—typical, right? But this beta? It’s like a little peace offering for the ones nursing their wounds from that delay. Not much, but something. And hey, it’s free. Free is good. Beats waiting around till who-knows-when, doesn’t it?
So, here’s the deal. If you’re a total newbie, this is your shot to figure out what the game’s all about. Our own glimpse into the early stages went live not too long ago. Pretty positive vibes overall, but—weirdly—loads of stuff remains shrouded in mystery. Like, what’s up with the end-game content?
