Ah, man, where do I even start? So, I’ve been listening to this podcast, right? It’s from Sony — yeah, the big guns in gaming. And, well, they’ve got this thing where you can email them at [email protected]. That’s if, you know, you’re into that sort of old-school emailing thing.
And honestly, they’ve been everywhere. Like, they’re on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, you name it, you can probably find them there. Cool, right? So, uh, this week, Kristen, Tim, and another guy — that’s me just guessing ‘cause they chat like a team — decided to dive into this Ghost of Yōtei State of Play. It’s sort of a gameshow… wait, is that what you call it? Anyway, they were showing off how you can play it and stuff. And then they got into this deep talk about some game ending — Clair Obscur, I think? Expedition something-or-other? Honestly, the name’s kinda a mouthful.
Oh! And let’s not forget their gaming stories. They’ve got so many titles lined up. Like, they’re dropping Monument Valley 3 soon — it’s gonna be on PS5 and PS4. Then there’s Wildgate, Wheel World — honestly, the name cracks me up, feels like life sometimes — and Killing Floor 3 (on PS5, of course, because, well, where else?) And this other one — Wuchang: Fallen Feathers. Not sure what that’s about, but sounds serious.
So anyway, the Ghost of Yōtei thing had, like, 20 minutes total of gameplay. Someone counted it, or maybe I’m making that up. Had new stuff, modes, gadgets or something… plus, they’re selling two new hardware bundles — whatever those are.
Oh, and guess what? There’s this new character reveal — “The French” — in some game called Bye Sweet Carole. Sounds like someone’s romance gone wrong, if you ask me, but with spooky drawings. They were all excited about it.
And how could I forget, Killing Floor 3’s got this intense new trailer out. Kinda gives you chills. They even did some creepy Q&A with the developers. Wonder if that was fun or just plain awkward.
By the way, big shoutout to Dormilón for the killer theme music they use on the show. It just sets the mood, you know?
Quick note though: game release dates — they’re a bit like my plans — totally prone to change. Seriously. It’s all based on what game companies say or some rating description deal. But hey, if you’re into gaming, you get used to surprises, right? Or maybe you don’t. Who knows anymore!
